Pen Llyn Ultra Winter Edition

Start: Tafarn Y Fic, Llithfaen
Finish: Tafarn Y Fic, Llithfaen
Distance: 60KM
A challenging 60km loop exploring the Mariner’s Trail on the Llyn Peninsula, this is an adventure with breathtaking coastal views which will take you through the heart of Pen Llyn. Includes relay option.
St. David's Half Marathon

Finish: Aberdaron
Distance: 21KM
Celebrate Dydd Gŵyl Dewi on an unforgettable journey across the stunning Llŷn Peninsula. Starting at Cwt Tatws, Tudweiliog, you’ll follow spectacular coastal paths, ancient pilgrim routes and quiet country lanes before finishing in the beautiful village of Aberdaron.

Join us for a fun-filled day to raise funds and awareness for women’s cancer research. She Ultra is the world’s largest all female ultra event where hope, strength and community unite. Participate at your own pace. No Cut Offs, Only Smiles!
Black Sheep Trail Marathon

Finish: Aberdaron
Distance: 42KM
From the dramatic peaks of Yr Eifl to the seaside village of Aberdaron, this epic trail marathon follows the ancient pilgrim paths along the stunning coast of the north Pen Llyn to Porth Oer and then across to the famous village of Aberdaron.
Black Sheep Pilgrim's Trail 60
12th – 14th June 2027
Start: Bangor Cathedral
Finish: Aberdaron
Distance: 96.5KM
The route follows the epic North Wales Pilgrims Way from Bangor to Aberdaron. Optional competitor coach from Aberdaron to Bangor Cathedral on race morning for an additional fee.
Coastal Rush 25k & 50k
Saturday 3rd July 2027
Start: TBC
Finish: Ty Newydd Campsite
Distance: 50KM
Choose between a spectacular point-to-point 50km ultra taking in the coast path, beaches, trails and countryside of the Llŷn Peninsula…. Or a 25km trail challenge starting and finishing at Uwchmynydd at the western end of the Llŷn Peninsula.
Black Sheep Backyard Ultra
6th – 8th August 2027

Distance: As far as you can go
After several years of Black Sheep Backyard events, and with so many of you asking for its return, the Backyard Ultra returns for 2027. The concept is simple: complete the designated loop within the hour, return to the event hub and get ready to head out again on the hour.

Our first event was a 75mile race along the Wales Coastal Path with 50 entrants taking part. Since then, our events have grown with the She Ultra now the largest all female ultra event in the UK...
